It irritates me when I see a sign on any type of product that says "special offer" or "for a limited time, we offer you.." etc. It's not an "offer" if it involves monetary exchange...it's called a "sale."
An offer is something you give away for nothing in return. You can offer help, you can offer advice and you can also offer a product or service if you do not accept a compensation for your action. Because if you do, that means you are not "offering" anything any more...you are "selling." So allow me to offer these words to you my brothers and sisters...do not allow them to moneypulate you like this.
